Between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, is a a game reserve with masses of game and bird life. As some are not at all camera shy, it allows for unique close encounters not usually experienced. We have both game drives with experienced and knowledgeable rangers and self drive experiences.

Tala has recently been re- vamped and is now in keeping with the private game lodge concept. This is a partnership between the local community and the lodge so supporting here is both worthwhile socially and a wonderful African bush experience.
